I was playing with my MAME cabinet earlier and learned that Maximus Arcade can launch PC games using batch files.
So I installed Bionic Commando Reloaded and SoldnerX on it and made two batch files and it worked great loading from MA.
Next up is Cave Story, not quite arcade but close.
My question is what other arcade style games should I load on my MAME machine that are not already emulated by consoles?

I'd load up some of the shooters from ABA games. (http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/index_e.html) Torus Trooper on a cabinet would be awesome!

No problem. I have the game installed on my upstairs pc and my arcade cab, but there is something really fun about playing the game with an arcade style joystick.

Is there a guide for this? I want to do a batch file for U64 for Killer Instinct.

I'm pretty sure I talked about it on here. It's good stuff, if a little overrated.racketboy wrote:wait, what? a PC version of BC Rearmed???

There is a really fun boss only fixed shooter called Warning Forever. http://www18.big.or.jp/~hikoza/Prod/index_e.html

Touhou games - namely Perfect Cherry Blossom. Vertical Bullet Hell Shooters that are pretty, fast, and have an awesome soundtrack. This is on the hardest difficulty, so dont get too worked up about how hard it looks:
Get Medevil (if you find a copy tell me I want one) - it is a Gauntlet remake for the PC.
GL tron - Tron lightcycle game.
Grid Wars/Grid Wars 2 - Geometry Wars like game, which was Robotron for a new generation.
Dragons Lair HD/Space Ace HD - Ok so they need a beefier system, but then you wont have to tweak Daphne and they are in 5.1 surround and has a new transfer of the footage from the negative instead of the Laserdisc.
You could also play several old FPS titles that on your cab: Doom 1&2, Wolf3d, Duke3d, etc. But I do not know which ones support splitscreen. You could also try Jazz Jackrabbit 1&2 - but I do not know if there is simply a weapon key, or if you need all of the number keys (forgive me I just started playing the game about a week ago).
