I've gotten a broken Sega CD Model 2 and after looking around I'm pretty sure I just need to replace the Fuse, although finding one seems to be difficult for me. Does anyone know where I could get one that doesn't charge like 25$ for shipping a 1$ fuse to Canada? Also if anyone knows variations of fuses that would work with the system maybe I could look for another type.
-I found this video pretty helpful if anyone is thinking of fixing one

Re: Sega CD 2 Fuse locating
Hey brotha,
I've had this same problem fixed a few years back. I brought mine to radio shack and they had all sorts of fuses for me. it only costs about a buck.
let me know how it turns out.

Re: Sega CD 2 Fuse locating
I have some local electronic shops that I've asked about fuses, but I need some specific models. I was looking for a PICO II 2.5a fuse but something makes me think maybe I could use or find something else that would work.

Re: Sega CD 2 Fuse locating
I'm amazed! After some minor burns I got it working! Haha, awesome. Thanks man.
I used one of these things http://www.mrvfone.com.au/sega/fuse_h.jpg and didn't even take out the old fuse. I just had to solder it to the legs of the old fuse
