Summer Games Challenge 2015
Re: Summer Games Challenge 2015
Oh, right, I forgot that I had never finished Phantasy Star III, or the first one. If I'm going for an RPG, those would both be excellent candidates. I might shoot for PS1 in particular, probably via the retranslated version. (I do own the original release, imported from Australia. Works on US systems just fine!)

Re: Summer Games Challenge 2015
I'd like to participate again, but I don't know if I will this year. I have to plow through the MGS games before Phantom Pain comes out and this activity isn't for backlogs.
My games are all packed up too ... so it would be pretty difficult to even make a tentative selection.

I will probably do what I do every year: Say I'm not gonna make a list cuz I know I won't have time to play those ten games. Then last minute make a list of ten games. Then get excited and beat one of them right away. Then play a couple minutes of the other nine. Then ignore them all Summer as I focus on recently released games instead.

y'know, I don't hate that game. I had fun with it. It was just too much work in the long run. Wore me down. But I don't hate it.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Hey noise time to finish glitchy Tomb Raider.

Re: Summer Games Challenge 2015
It's coming, folks. We're almost to May. Some of us will start in early May, some of us in the US will likely wait for Memorial Day, May 25, 2015, and some of us will probably start in June or even for the first day of Summer, June 21, 2015. But it's a good idea to have those lists ready.
To remind folks, here's mine:
1. Final Fantasy V
2. System Shock 2
3. Descent
4. Ultima
5. Loom
6. 7th Guest
7. Mortal Kombat 2
8. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
9. Super Mario Bros. 2: The Lost Levels
10. Castlevania: Dracula X
Remember, go for the classics that you have not yet beaten!

Re: Summer Games Challenge 2015
I don't have a tremendous amount of video gaming time; so, I run the challenge from May 1 through September 30.
