You know, I thought of it that way, but then again I'd still rather own the real deal...no matter how nice the everdrive sounds

I understand completely as I'm not at the point of selling everything off yet, but the temptation is growing.

I look at my collection and try to decide which games are my absolute favorites that I have to keep and I eventually end up not wanting to part with anything.

I'm at the same point - how will I know which are my favorites unless I play them all?

I do think I'll eventually trim down my collection, maybe I'll keep my top 100 games and sell off the rest.

Well this is probably why I will only buy what I will play. I'm not a crazy that buys every game(or even wants to) for the sake of having it. That just makes no sense to have a game that's just going to sit on a shelf and gather dust. Plus since I don't play FPS's, sports and only maybe only a few games that are still in the shooter realm every now and then, i've limited how much filler is in my collection. If it comes down to the fact that i'm not going to play a game ever again I'll sell it...

I agree. Once I have decided that I will never play a game again, I sell or trade it. I used to keep everything just to say I owned it.

Yeah the only ones I truly have never sell is the first party nintendo titles...unless I was really desperate as a kid for a new game. But never again...sadly i still have a few games I really need to actually play and test but I need to find some decently good cheap wireless controllers. I've become accustomed to my ps4 controller

My problem is that I've had way too many games that I swore I was done with and played to death...
...then a year or 2 later I get an unexpected itch to play it again and regret getting rid of the game.
...just another lost soul...

I think we've all unfortunately felt that one before.

There are a handful of games/series that I know I'm probably going to play every few years. But I never know what off title I'll one day really have the urge to dive into.
