Still doesn't top Crystalis.
Certainly not as far as action RPGs go.

What a crazy name for a game! I'll have to check it out.

In before some jerk brings up Zelda
We are playing action RPGs, not action/adventure games.

One interesting quirk of Crystalis is that enemies take different damage from different swords, and in many cases take no damage at all except from a particular sword. You'll have to get used to switching swords constantly in the late game.

Watched the intro and exited the cave and then had to put it down, cause the wife was asking me to do something. Looks neat and I liked the music so far. Talk more once I've played some more.

After a marathon session I have finished the game. Loved it, as always.

I probably will play the GBC port too. I have a ton of games on my plate so I doubt I'll start until the New Year, but I can surely finish it in 11 days.

Haha well that was fast. Maybe this one shouldve been a one monther.

We, the trpg group, need to start discussing games beyond this one now that we are close to being done.

Average completion time of Crystalis is, what...? 12 hours maybe? I miss RPGs this short.

The main thing is whether or not you spend a lot of time failing at dodging boss attacks and having to repeat them.
