Well if the price is the only thing keeping you from playing this game, I'd say go for it. As it's not a 60 dollar brand new vs 20 dollar bargain bin price difference we're talking here, it's 10 dollar bargain bin vs 6 bargain bin price difference we're talking
4 dollars isn't a whole lot of money (I understand unwillingness to pay that much for a downloadable game as I don't like to buy DL only games myself, but like said, you can find a jewel case copy for 10 dollars or less too)If you can't appreciate well written dialogue, characters, story and a game world where your actions have consequences this game probably isn't for you tbh, but I say that if you're able to play any PS1/PS2 era Final Fantasy/average JRPG (shit ton of dialogue you gotta sit through), you can handle this game, so it's a good game to keep in mind when/if you wanna some day get into WRPGs. But like I said, if you only want combat and tactics, there are far better WRPGs out there than this.
