Worst/Least Favorite Final Fantasy Game?

I hated final fantasy six I still do.

Seven is hands down the best final fantasy there has ever been.

While I do agree it's a great game I totally disagree on it being the best final fantasy. This has got to be the most over rated rpg ever. IT's good but I have played better rpg's

I agree with VII being overrated, but VI is without a doubt my favorite.

My least favorite has to be XII. I hated XIII, but at least I finished it. XII I couldn't bring myself to even beat, and I own every numbered FF.

FF IV is my second favorite behind VI, then it's got to be VII and then Tactics. X was great as well though, and I'm really looking forward to the HD remaster of FFX.

I really enjoyed final fantasy x and I also even liked x-2 although it was pretty fan based I still enjoyed the open world and missions. The only thing I did not like about final fantasy x was the ending to it. I thought it was to short and corny but the game itself and all the cutscenes more then made up for the lame excuse of an ending

I agree. FFX-2's ending, or at least the secret ending, was really good though and made up for X's bad one.

Ya not to mention the game was just fun period although it gets alot of slack. To much I think really if anyone gave it a try they would find it to be very fun

RPGs aren't my genre as I'm sure I've prefaced a million posts with.

That said I've played FF1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and Tactics. 6 is the only one that really hooked me and got me to play through it all the way. I thought 5 was pretty cool though, what I played of it anyway.

Honestly if I had to pick the worst final fantasy it would be hands down mystic quest I think it was for snes. That game was basically just babys first rpg. It's also the only final fantasy I've ever beaten.

When i was a kid i remeber likeing that game alot and later on i remember getting very stuck somewhere.

I'll need to replay it as an adult

You really don't. I did so not too long ago for completeness sake, and the game is just mind numbingly easy. The only "difficult" parts are when monsters can out speed you and have disabling spells, and that's just luck of the draw.

I recently played through Mystic Quest, and it is very much a beginner's RPG. Going back for more than an educational examination really isn't recommended. It suffers from severe flaws inherent to the genre, like status effects being far more dangerous to the player. It is not a difficult game, though there were a few times I got annoyed with level arrangement. The music is also not bad, but repetitive. In general, Mystic Quest really isn't relevant to play and likely won't sate the desire for a JRPG.

My favorite is VII, with VI as a very, very close second. and I believe the worst is XIII with X being a very very close second. I'd also like to say that IX was the last FF game that I really enjoyed.
