I think that's definitely a girl thing. I had to work damn hard to beat my ex-fiancée at Puyo Puyo. She fucking schooled me every single time at Tetris Attack though. I just can't wrap my head around it. I think women's brains are just wired up better for that kind of multi-tasking. Like they're already setting up combos way in advance whilst managing their current task. The only reason I could beat her in puyo was because my reaction/input speed was much faster due to my more learned dexterity. She used to do some fucking insane combos.
Get her playing some Super Puzzle Fighter, that was also a favourite of me and my ex's.
My girlfriend kinda sucks at puzzle games actually. The only one shes stands a chance at beating me at is Tetris.
She prefers co-op gameplay anyway. She enjoyed Left 4 dead, Resident evil 5, Lego Indiana Jones (all her games, not mine) and kirby's dreamland 3 (this one's mine ^_^) co-op with me. We also downloaded and played through Castle Crashers and Scott Pilgrim together, and she played some Streets of Rage 2 with me for a bit too, but got frustrated because she kept dieing so resorted to punching me instead
I keep trying to convince her to play Gunstar Heroes with me, but she outright refuses, says it looks too hard.
