I included that one to see if anyone actually read the list. Good job!

Good choice for a ruse. Since there were games like Spot Goes to Hollywood on the Sega Saturn, I thought ... maybe?? Then thought, man if someone is putting this on their list of games they need to play, must be a good game! ;)

The Resident Evils - I hate tank controls and am not a horror fan at all (even though Ack has tried).
Sid Meier's Pirates - Well Ive loaded it up, thats about it. Ive been told it is awesome just havent had the drive to play it yet.

Oh, yeah.. I'm with you there. This is true for me and pretty much any Sid Meier game. I haven't played my Civilization games either. Actual, the only Sim game I ever devoted any real time to was Sim City long ago. Since then, I usually feel like the learning curve seems so steep for a new game that I don't feel like devoting the time. I'm the same way with RTS games. I have several of them, but I rarely make it out of the tutorial before I've moved on to something else.

It actually was a real game, it just was never released.

Apparently, a prototype has been found.

I see, well if you were congratulating me on spotting that, I failed. ;)

I thought of another hole in my classic games played list: Kid Icarus. Not sure how I got around not playing that one.

I'll leave out current gen stuff, but this is the sad list of apparently classic/highly regarded games sitting on my shelf that I have never played for even one minute:

Alone in the Dark (PC)
Diablo II (PC) (waiting to get a hold of Diablo 1 for PC first!)
Star Wars KOTOR I and II (PC)
Banjo-Kazooie (N64)
A Boy and His Blob (NES)
Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Donkey Kong Country 2 (SNES)
Pilotwings (SNES)
Power Stone 2 (DC)(waiting to get a hold of 1 first)
Skies of Arcadia (DC)
Castlevania: Bloodlines (GEN)
Shadowrun (GEN)
Guardian Heroes (SAT)
Bushido Blade 1 and 2 (PS1)
Dino Crisis 1 and 2 (PS1)
Discworld (PS1)
Parasite Eve 2 (PS1)
Thunder Force V (PS1)
Zanac x Zanac (PS1)
all of the last gen Prince of Persia series (PS2/Xbox/GCN)
all of the Ratchet and Clank games (PS2)

There's plenty of other great games sitting around that I have only played for a few minutes - it would have doubled the list, easily. Such a sad state of affairs to have these and to have not played them for a moment!

I was thinking about whether I want to get Pilotwings Resort and realised I haven't even played Pilotwings or Pilotwings 64.

Spot Goes to Hollywood? It was officially released, I promise. I got it, Bug! and Virtua Fighter Kids for Christmas 1997 from a grandmother who just wasn't satisfied with my requests for "Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Fighters Megamix, Guardian Heroes, or Dragon Force" for some reason. It's actually got alot of heart to it for such an awkward premise, and isn't a bad game... very difficult due to the awkwardly-handled isometric viewpoint, though.
