That... sounds impressive.

That's the main issue that most people have with the game. It feels like a combination of an RTS and a SHMUP, with the speed of the former. But, it is still pretty fun for what it's worth. And I bet that it would be a total blast if you were actually able to set up a 32-player match!

Dive Alert is pretty cheap, right? I am into my NGPC lately and I might need to expand the ol' collection. Is there a preferred version of the game?

You can get it pretty cheap if you just want the cart. If you want the sexy plastic case, then you're going to have to spend a bit more. I only have Matt's version so I don't know if there's a superior version out there.

Combat is a little slow, but the game is a neat concept. Multiplayer would be cool.
Faselei is a much better game all around, but Dive Alert is a solid game.
