Yeah. the compatibility list is quite low for the antenna.
Just get a cable. The cable really doesn't take away from the experience.

The wireless adapter is a nice collector's novelty, though. One really cool thing they did with it was that the Japanese version of the Dive Alert games supported 32-player simultaneous Co-Op play exclusive to the Wireless Adapter!

That... sounds impressive.
But I hear it wasn't a good game. :(

I've heard so many conflicting things about Dive Alert that I am half tempted to get a copy just to find out for myself.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I played it for a bit. It's okay, just kind of slow.

That's the main issue that most people have with the game. It feels like a combination of an RTS and a SHMUP, with the speed of the former. But, it is still pretty fun for what it's worth. And I bet that it would be a total blast if you were actually able to set up a 32-player match!

Dive Alert is pretty cheap, right? I am into my NGPC lately and I might need to expand the ol' collection. Is there a preferred version of the game?

You can get it pretty cheap if you just want the cart. If you want the sexy plastic case, then you're going to have to spend a bit more. I only have Matt's version so I don't know if there's a superior version out there.

ditto, just Matt version is what I have.

Combat is a little slow, but the game is a neat concept. Multiplayer would be cool.
Faselei is a much better game all around, but Dive Alert is a solid game.
