:| I'm sick. I threw up last night and had the worst case of the chills even under 2 super thick comforters. I thought it was food poisoning from the Chinese food I had on Christmas but my friend I got Chinese with isn't sick. Today I woke up with a fever of 102 and my tongue was black.

:( It sucks even more, my girlfriend is out of town and so is our house mate who lives upstairs and I can't get anyone to grab me stuff from a store. I would kill for some orange juice and sprite/7up right now. One of them should be back soon though so I'm not that stressed.

Smile I did at least have a nice holiday. Went to my grandmothers for dinner on Christmas eve then hung out with my friend Owen and had drinks and played games all night since neither of us were going to do anything with our family.

Bleh: Dropped off my car for it to be fixed from the bodyslam the tree gave it last week. Ten mile ride home on the bus wasn't bad, just took forever. I just got a call with an update and time estimate and I'll probably be without my car until the 18th. :?

Still, I have my health. I just may have a little less of my mental health in 3 weeks after I start going a little stir crazy.

Thanks Michi, I'm feeling quite a bit better now. I slept most of the day off and on so that's helped. I just woke up a bit ago and finally ate, my girlfriend brought back some homemade chicken noodle soup, it hit the spot. I should be almost 100 percent tomorrow I think.

I don't really think I'll be getting much more sleep tonight so I'm going to try and find something to do productive.

Lots of smiles today.

Checked out a new arcade inside what used to be a meat market -- seriously! (it didn't stay open long)
Image
A 60-in-1 with a vertical HDTV inside (not working ugh) and a 20th anniversary Ms.Pacman/Galaga

Then there were 3 games I have not played in over 10 years -

Jambo Safari
Image
Sega Strike Fighter & The Ocean Hunter (Sega)
Image
The Ocean Hunter also had its original monitor gutted out for a VIZIO HD display -- the difference is there.
Image
Isn't it nice to play games you thought you'd never play again?
Image
Then today I checked out a new retro game store that is a mile from where I live! It's also a computer repair shop, but they had a lot of really nice games from PS3/360 to Atari 2600 and all the older Nintendo systems. Good prices too!

:? : Leaving my job in three weeks. Just when I was all psyched up to quit the job and start having a normal sleep cycle again, my boss starts talking about wanting to put me on track to become a manager. Now I'm always gonna wonder how my life and career would have gone had I not decided to join the military.

After your military stint is done with, you could always just try going back.

Personally I wouldn't want to be a manager at wal-mart anyway. There's a reason I've stayed in the same position for as long as I have...

Good to hear. Being sick always sucks. Thinking "man, I can't wait to feel normal again", is always a weird feeling.

Nice. Happening upon even just a few cabs alone is exciting, having a dedicated arcade around would be awesome. Looks like someone needs a new camera or something though haha, those pics aren't too easy on the eyes.

:( Apparently I read the tickets wrong, so the show I thought I was going to tomorrow night is actually tonight. And the friend I was going to take probably won't be available. We're probably going to have to reschedule for when it comes around again in June.
