Hope you feel better soon, flex.

Bleh: Dropped off my car for it to be fixed from the bodyslam the tree gave it last week. Ten mile ride home on the bus wasn't bad, just took forever. I just got a call with an update and time estimate and I'll probably be without my car until the 18th.
Still, I have my health. I just may have a little less of my mental health in 3 weeks after I start going a little stir crazy.

Thanks Michi, I'm feeling quite a bit better now. I slept most of the day off and on so that's helped. I just woke up a bit ago and finally ate, my girlfriend brought back some homemade chicken noodle soup, it hit the spot. I should be almost 100 percent tomorrow I think.
I don't really think I'll be getting much more sleep tonight so I'm going to try and find something to do productive.

Lots of smiles today.
Checked out a new arcade inside what used to be a meat market -- seriously! (it didn't stay open long)
A 60-in-1 with a vertical HDTV inside (not working ugh) and a 20th anniversary Ms.Pacman/Galaga
Then there were 3 games I have not played in over 10 years -
Jambo Safari
Sega Strike Fighter & The Ocean Hunter (Sega)
The Ocean Hunter also had its original monitor gutted out for a VIZIO HD display -- the difference is there.
Isn't it nice to play games you thought you'd never play again?
Then today I checked out a new retro game store that is a mile from where I live! It's also a computer repair shop, but they had a lot of really nice games from PS3/360 to Atari 2600 and all the older Nintendo systems. Good prices too!

After your military stint is done with, you could always just try going back.BoringSupreez wrote:: Leaving my job in three weeks. Just when I was all psyched up to quit the job and start having a normal sleep cycle again, my boss starts talking about wanting to put me on track to become a manager. Now I'm always gonna wonder how my life and career would have gone had I not decided to join the military.
Personally I wouldn't want to be a manager at wal-mart anyway. There's a reason I've stayed in the same position for as long as I have...

Good to hear. Being sick always sucks. Thinking "man, I can't wait to feel normal again", is always a weird feeling.flex wood wrote:Thanks Michi, I'm feeling quite a bit better now.
Nice. Happening upon even just a few cabs alone is exciting, having a dedicated arcade around would be awesome. Looks like someone needs a new camera or something though haha, those pics aren't too easy on the eyes.ExedExes wrote:Checked out a new arcade inside what used to be a meat market
