The Walking Dead tv series
Re: The Walking Dead tv series
That whole sequence was a strange and terrible ending in the alley. Let's just stand here and let everything corner us. Looked like there were a few escape routes. At least hop the fence. He just seemed out of character to be stupid all the sudden.

Anyone who doesn't realize the show is based on false leads and far fetched twists and turns has no brain in their head to be examined.
I'm also done with spoiler tags. This is a spoiler thread, so spoil away.
The Talking dead show, starring that guy that wears suits I either love or loathe, did not have the usual "In Memoriam" segment for Glenn, a flagship character. They almost always interview the newly dead, no?.
Fairly sure that by the end of the season everything, and everyone has found solace and comfort, only for things to go to shit again. As it is in the world of TWD.

The fence from the other side was crawling with Z's, so at least the writers there weren't careless

So Glenn put his trust in an obviously shell-shocked character. That was unwise. This writing-off of Glenn reminded me of how they killed off John Connor's uncle in Chronicles.

The fence had barbed wire, which I assume is razor sharp
If he's alive, then seriously, fuck this show. I'm done
And it'd be a shame because it's actually been getting good

Well there was a fire escape 100 yards back lol. Had he killed dude originally, like he should have, this wouldn't be an issue.
Moral of the story? shoot people.
I found it funny his insides were all torn out and yet he almost half sat up and watched.

Don't recall any false leads that were quite this misleading though. This would be a new level of fakeout.
Also, and they've mentioned this before, they don't schedule newly dead characters for the after show b/c it gives away who's going to die...

Re: The Walking Dead tv series
Popular opinion now seems to be that he's not dead, which pisses me off.
The latest episode of The Watching Dead podcast from Bald move pretty much echoes my frustration on this issue. Fuck this show if he's still alive. And even if he isn't, they've done so much to make people think that he might be, including a very ambiguous, BS statement from the show runner that I still have to say, fuck this show. They've handled this very poorly.

i think he'll get out of it also. either somehow crawling under that dumpster or someone firing a gun or something to distract the herd. offed characters have always appeared directly on the talking dead, i think someone above is wrong in that regard. plus they need to setup the character for lucille. to me, if he lives they've jumped the shark. i don't care if nick fell on top of him, that was a shitload of walkers.
where did Daryl go on his little ride, I thought he was going to meet up with Rick, but then ended up back with the car/horde.. what was that all about?.. guess his garmin isnt working.

TWD is a scifi show after all.. even though him returning has 0% to do with science
