sigh.
Link to the Past
Wind Waker
Link's Awakening
Legend of Zelda
Adventure of Link
Four Swords Adventures
Oracle of Seasons/Ages
Majora's Mask
Minish Cap
Ocarina of Time
...and I haven't played Twilight Princess and beyond, though plan to rectify that soon enough.

That honestly surprises me. You've played it recently?
To completion? No. A few dungeons? Yes.

Meh, Lttp will always be my personal favorite, but I loved Ocarina too. The graphics aren't beautiful by any stretch of the imagination, but the gameplay certainly is there.

Oh dear...this is shameful for me since I love all these games and have even played them to death but I have never...NEVER finished a single game...EVER. idk why I can't finish a game...to hard? No...maybe it's because I don't want the magic to end...at any rate here's my list.
1: The legend of zelda ocarina of time for N64
2: Super mario 64 for N64
3: The legend of zelda a link to the past for SNES
4: Super mario bros for NES
5: Super mario bros 3 for NES
6: Pokemon red for GB
7: Sonic for Sega Gen
8: Donkey kong for N64
9: The legend of zelda for NES
10: Fallout 3 for PC
I'll never finish them...ever lol. Now for some of them, 1,3,5,6 and 10 I have gotten very close to finishing them but never took the last step. The rest I played half or less then half of and never picked it up again.
I should note that for 10, I have gone to the original games end (meaning no DLC) but just before it I restarted an old save and said to hell with it. I have to much fun modding it.

Man Civ 5 is really taking away my time from the summer challenge. I spent all day just playing Civ, I could have beaten Banjo Kazooie from head to toe in one day. I was well on pace to finishing 7 more games, but now I'm not so sure because I still have the urge to keep playing Civ. Pokemon Pinball sapping my time hasn't been helping either.
LTTP was one of the games I wanted to play this summer, not sure if I can have the time for it. I'll see if I can get through shorter games like Snatcher, Sin & Punishment and Banjo.
As for the Zelda debate, I've only played OOT and LoZ. Thought LoZ was amazing, only problem was it got too cryptic, but I was very stubborn in not using a map (or drawing one myself), outside of that the game was sublime. OOT....well, I've said my opinion on it quite a bit, thought it was very boring.

Not sure if it counts as a "classic" though, and it's broad in terms of how you beat it (I'm not finishing the Pokedex that's for sure, I think you need to trade to do it). I did beat the CPU's best score though.
No trading required at all.
You DO need to learn the mechanics of moving regions though, as some pokemon only appear in regions that only appear after you move a certain number of times.
A few pokemon and areas only appear on one of the two tables too.
Mewtwo and Mew are also a pain in the ass to catch.
I'm playing Sapphire/Ruby version. I think I can catch most of them, I've already got like 80 of them and I've only been playing a few days. I've learned the Ruby board pretty well. I'll be content with my progress in this game when I get most of the pokemon except guys like Chikarita who you only have a 1% chance of meeting.
Speaking of the Ruby & Sapphire version, I have no idea who half of these Pokemon are. They look so generic, like where the hell is the personality? Crazy that there is going to be like 3 iterations of Pokemon after that.

Classics
1. Ducktales (NES)
2. QuackShot (Gen)
3. Adventures of Batman and Robin (SNES)
4. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (PC) Finished 6/29
5. Wonder Boy in Monster World (Gen)
6. Star Wars: KOTOR (XBOX) In Process 20hrs
7. Streets of Rage (Gen) Finished 6/16
8. Streets of Rage 2(Gen)
9. God of War (PS3 HD) Finished 7/15
Not Classics that I want to beat before summer ends
10. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions (PS3) Finished 7/28
I finished Spider-Man last night (thanks Stark!) and I have to say that I really enjoyed the story. The story felt like an epic mini series. All three of the other Spider-Men were well written and their stages stayed true to their comics. Because of this game I am rereading the whole 2099 series and reviewing them on my site...
Anyway, the story was great but I was not a fan of the gameplay. Maybe I'm not too good with the triggers and their sensitivity because R2 was used to swing and if tapped web-zip. This sensitivity caused me much frustration. I also was amused that there were first person boxing parts to the boss battles, they were unnecessary but looked cool. In the end I am glad I played this since I really dug the story.

What did you think of the Indiana Jones game?
It is one of the best games ever made.

For what it's worth, the TG16 port of Fantasy Zone might be more accurate to the arcade game, but I personally like the Master System version better.
Also, sweet, someone else to suffer through Blaster Master with me!

Not that it's bad, but it sure ain't easy.
was the game gear version or genesis any good?
