To begin with, I am super excited about the possibility of exploratory based VR games. Scuba diving simulators, haunted house simulators, alien planet simulators, that sort of thing. Beyond virtual vacations I can imagine a whole host of innovative concepts for VR and gaming. But it's outside the scope of this thread. I'm just glad to still be excited about this medium in at least one regard (because super pretty interactive movies aren't my thing). Although to be honest with you guys, I've been stoked about VR possibilities since I bought this book back in 1995.Gunstar Green wrote:VR is also making its influence felt with a lot of first-person, ultra-realistic designs tailored to it and it's not everybody's cup of tea.
