Ha ha, that would be great if we could sell people on it...only issue is licensing for the software if they try to get it and use it just for old times sake
But honestly you might as well as far as I'm concerned unless you know the title's price is going to skyrocket even more you're better off focusing on systems that no one wants to check prices on and sell for weirdly cheap prices(like some local pawns do). Which right now if you go to some places around here that's going to be probably ps2 and ps3(at least from what I see they had dragon age origins for like 14 even if it was disc only I might even pick it up), and some wii stuff.
My gameroom My systems: NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, original gba, gba sp(001), ds lite, 3ds, vita, psp, PSone(101 model) ps2, ps3(320gb model), ps4, retron 5, and Dreamcast.

Found a pristine N64 in a box and got excited to play the original Smash and the N64 Mario kart. $100 for the console and 2 controllers with the cords still tied and wrapped. Those 2 games alone would have cost more than the console.
I can wait for the bubble to burst. I have to think that these prices are not what the customer will pay, but what the seller is holding out for.

That is the case sometimes...that's the bad part about sellers especially ones with a high reserve. That's what bugs me about some of them. They should know good and well people will still pay a nice sum for their product but what they want isn't always what they're going to get. That's probably what's wrong with most sellers(besides the fact they probably base the prices off price chart alone and not a combination of that and ebay completed sold listings). One of these days some of them will have a wake up call and buyers will become more like us and really search for the deals like some of us are really doing...

Just wondering, does it make you a worse person if just download a rom instead of buying the cart? The point of the game is to play it and enjoy it. As long as you do that, I don't see a reason for the hating. The actual cart is about nostalgia, which is good but as I've gotten older I've learned the clock never stops ticking and life keeps going on, whether I own this game or that game.
Trust me, my family and fiance and friends won't think less of me if I don't own a certain game on cart form. I guess I could then post a nice collection video on youtube, but it owning a cart won't make me sleep any better at night. I just think it's not worth it overall to pay the high prices. Take your woman out to a nice place to eat instead. It'll be worth it, trust me.
They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe, yet.

Yes, you are a worse person. Take her out shopping for N64 games instead and you'll both be happier, trust me.
I'd still rather have the physical cart....I'll hold my breath and take my time to find carts. Maybe one of these days I'll luck out and find a decent lot on the web like i did for my ps2 >_>

I've started kicking around the idea of going completely flash-cart for my collection. I still enjoy owning the real thing but it becomes more of a hassle every day and takes up a lot of space.
When I factor how much I could sell my collection for compared to how much all the different flash carts will run me... the expense really does seem tiny.
