I was hoping for PS1 so I'd have an excuse to spend a lot of money buying the SMS version
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Was already done for Together Retro, which is why we jumped right to II.Menegrothx wrote:I was hoping for PS1 so I'd have an excuse to spend a lot of money buying the SMS version

I think my PSII game is at the point where I need to go to the island to pick some fruit off a tree. But I still have more grinding to do to get the equipment so I can survive the trip. The balance is very Dragon Quest 1: you know you've grinded enough when you've purchased all the gear from the current shop.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Was already done for Together Retro, which is why we jumped right to II.Menegrothx wrote:I was hoping for PS1 so I'd have an excuse to spend a lot of money buying the SMS version

It's been said a bit already before, but PSII is definitely confusing to me, and having a walkthrough or guide is extremely helpful when you get stuck. There's not much context given on where you need to go or how. I'm not saying I like to be spoonfed, but it's pretty nondescript on how you advance the plot sometimes. I'm only an hour or two in, too, so maybe I'm just bad at the game, lol.

I played this on my iphone a year or two ago, and the game was incredibly difficult to navigate through.Blu wrote:It's been said a bit already before, but PSII is definitely confusing to me, and having a walkthrough or guide is extremely helpful when you get stuck. Finding where to go isn't even the hardest part, the dungeons themselves are pretty insane labyrinths. It's hard to keep track of where you're going, even with a map. Not to mention the monsters are so strong that if you get lost, there is a decent chance you'll run out of supplies from the vast amount of damage you've taken over time.

It's a shame I deleted my PS2 file, that was going to be the game where I over farm and just totally face roll it
