I still really wanna play this one. And all the other thrillers I still need to hit up, heh. Sounds like the DC had a good bit of them actually.KillerJuan77 wrote:I already played it, I liked it but I ain't replaying it soon.saturnfan wrote:Anyone gonna play Blue Stinger? I know I am.

Plenty of copies on ebay, just not cheap. Of course there's mame and then you're playing with a mouse.J T wrote:Does anyone know if there's a way to get a copy of Chiller for the NES or if there is a good way to emulate a Zapper game?

It's definetely worth playing but it's still kind of dull, Carrier is much better IMO although I hadn't played Illbleed, AITD: The New Nightmare, D2 or The Ring so I'm not sure if any of those are better.Xeogred wrote:I still really wanna play this one. THOTD: Overkill is amazing even though it suffers from some serious framerate issues and stuttering.AznKhmerBoi wrote:im thinking about playing re2 or alone in the dark , both on psx.

I'm really itching for Amnesia, sounds like an interesting game. Also Illbleed and Eternal Darkness, but that would mean console purchases.
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of Earth is really cool game, didn't get very far yet. Sanitarium is another PC favorite.

I'm thinking I'm going to replay HotD: Overkill for sure. I'll have to come up with a decent list here later today though. I need to commit to it this time... my Snickerdoodle's Summer Challenge list went untouched all summer.

Carrier was a lot of fun in my opinion. Blue Stinger was hit or miss at times, but I enjoyed the strange contradiction between the Christmas atmosphere and the monsters roaming around.KillerJuan77 wrote:It's definetely worth playing but it's still kind of dull, Carrier is much better IMO although I hadn't played Illbleed, AITD: The New Nightmare, D2 or The Ring so I'm not sure if any of those are better.Xeogred wrote:I still really wanna play this one. As for those others...it took me a long time to get into The New Nightmare. I hated it the first time I played it for PS1, giving it the rare distinction of being one of only a handful of games I've ever returned. But having sat down with the DC version, I found it's better than I remember. There were things that irk me about it, such as the respawns and the bizarre guns, but it's still enjoyable.
D2 is strange, and my copy has a bad tendency to freeze, so I've not played much of it. I also haven't given much time to Illbleed.
And then there is The Ring.
Don't play The Ring.
Don't.
As for my October, I'm moving for personal reasons and trying to find work in Atlanta, GA, so I don't know if I'll be playing anything.

D2 on the Dreamcast for me. Although the game drags, and isn't that great of a game, I'm up on it for October.
House of the Dead Collection (or whatever it is called) on the Wii. Great rail shooter.
