By Walking Dead standards, that was one of their best episodes. Very artfully done and emotional.

Age is just a number. There's no better proof than Emily Kinney

My mother actually looks 20 years younger than she is and has for years. People legitimately don't believe her when she tells them her age and she regularly deals with jealousy from other women YOUNGER than her who actually look older than her.

She hates getting asked on dates by younger men though, hasn't had good experiences with them in the past.

Another boring episode. Can someone explain, after sasha killed that one zombie, why it ruined their plan and they had to kill the rest? Like it angered them or something.

I *think* the plan was to push them all in the ditch and then keep walking, but then she went crazy and they had to fight otherwise she'd get hurt.

Yeah, episode kind of blew.

Yeah i know it can't be non stop action, but dam, waste 55 minutes? Maybe the last couple of minutes is the start of another storyline.

So I'm over at a friends house where group of all get together every week for the show and my gal pal Heather mentions, "Man are they looking rough. Ever notice how the weather is always the same? Doesn't it ever rain?".

I enjoyed the symbolism of the rain as purification and a new start, as almost everyone was at a breaking point.

Plus we got "Gay Aaron" which is both good and bad. Good because it might mean we go to Alexandria. Bad because Lucille may smash Glen's head into ground meat.

Funny exchange last night between a married couple that seem to like bickering:

Bruce: Ah. It's gay Aaron.

Heather: So he's gay?

Bruce: Yes.

Heather: So what does that mean?

Bruce: The opposite of "no".

Wow. That was full on comic book spoilers, and potential show spoilers

Good to know if you want to get away from Zombies all you can to do is a slow walk. Scenes like the one with the highway with the horde of walkers behind them and they are just casually walking always annoy me.

Here's something I tend to think:

Transitional episodes are necessary to unfold the entire story. When some see "boring" I see character development and the plot unfolding.

I find this episode needed as to know exactly what state of mind the characters currently have. This ties us to the characters and makes us care more for the ones who are starting to lose their mind, and worry less for the ones who seem stable...which can set up for the "oh s#it!" moments.

You can't say "this was a waste of an episode" when you count in the aspect that this an ongoing series. Rather think "How will this pay off?". And as with most ongoing stories, TWD has a respectable bell curve. Well...the farm stuff dragged on what seemed like forever, but Hershel's death was a kick to the crotch.

Think this show, as other dramas, should be judged by season and not by episode. These writers are already ten steps ahead of us.

Meh. Character development can be accomplished without stagnating the rest of the story.

I personally loved the generally disliked episode that featured only Beth and Daryl hiding out in a cabin.

Conversations like "we're going to make it", "You're going to make it", "I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it!" have been played through 1,000 times by now. It's grown old.
