Screw the next gen. The PS4, the Xbox One and the Wii U are all cr*p in my book.
I feel consoles have really gone downhill after the GC and PS2 era (not including the Xbox because I hate it). They try out all these new ideas which flop hard...motion controls...really? And that goes for all the consoles because while Nintendo focused on it, the others tried to put out stupid add-ons that sort of did the same thing.
I was talking to another gamer at a yard sale today and we both agreed that the consoles are not long for this world. I mean look at the price of the PS4 and Xbox One...you could get an ok laptop for that much. And if your short on cash...like many of us are these days, would you rather have a game system that does a few things or a laptop which does many things and can also be used for work/school?
I'll stick to my RETRO consoles and PC thank you very much.

Finally, someone who hates motion control as much as me! What exactly do you mean? Also, the PS4 doesn't look that bad. I mean it doesn't look great by any means but no crap though.

Yes there are things I like in this world...I just happen to HATE all the new cr*p that Nintendo sh*ts out. And think that new consoles are cr*p as well. Is that a problem? That I don't love buying Nintendo's cr*p anymore?
idk why every time I say I hate Nintendo's stuff now everyones all against me. Christ it's called having an opinion. You can love Nintendo's junk or the new gen for all I care, more power to you and everyone who does. I just like to think differently then all the other sheep in this world.

Motion control has got to be one of the stupidest idea's people came up with.

Eh...your opinion...I mean it's not as horrible as the Wii U (thank god), but 500 bucks for an upgraded PS3? No thanks Sony...I all ready bought your over priced PS3 and PSP when they came out...that's all the money your getting from me.

But if i'm in the market for a PS4, I'm going to already have my priority's sorted out. Obviously school comes before games.

I dont get how a retro gamer can hate the current gen, but love the PS2 era. People do realize that there is actually a retro Renaissance in today's modern video game community both on an indie level and mainstream one, as opposed to the 5th and 6th gens where 2D was almost entirely neglected or overlooked as insignificant.
If anything it is a sheep mentality not to dig with an open mind, and to just go with the easy opinion of "today's stuff sucks".
I am personally starting to see the 'age' in games that are supposed to be ageless in the 16 bit era, and it's largely due to 2D games that are being released now. That's something the 5th gen and 6th gen never did since not enough developers cared to venture into the 2D genres.
But hey, shoot yourself.
