Together Retro: Half-Life
Re: Together Retro: Half-Life
You want to restore the power, so what you did to activate the "arms" was correct. However, you need to do it and then climb back on top of the generator to avoid getting fragged. Once all of the arms are connected, you have to climb your way back down to the tunnel you entered that room from and go back the way you came. There should be an Einstein-looking guy down there looking at some gauges who will tell you the power has been turned back on if you were successful.

I'm a little past the first encounter with a Garg. Everything going smoothly thus far.
Blast Pit was a cakewalk.

Maybe you wouldn't find it so hard if you used a keyboard and mouse.noiseredux wrote:well yeah, that makes sense guy.dsheinem wrote: Blast Pit was a cakewalk considering I've played through this before... and its sequel... and I beat like 30 FPS titles a year.

I actually think difficulty is very fair, at least so far.MrPopo wrote:Maybe you wouldn't find it so hard if you used a keyboard and mouse.noiseredux wrote:well yeah, that makes sense guy.dsheinem wrote: Blast Pit was a cakewalk considering I've played through this before... and its sequel... and I beat like 30 FPS titles a year.

Powered up!
Now on the rail. Nice way to start the stage off, I think. Nice to see there are a few more weapons to be had.

Anyone playing the arcade version? They recently installed these in the mall downstairs.
Re: Together Retro: Half-Life
That arcade setup reminds me of the time an arcade I went to was more than likely a test location for the arcade version of Quake by Lazer-Tron. Played just like on the PC. But, I loved the real arcade FPS like War Final Assault (got the in-game T-shirt offer) and The Grid. Spawn was also an arena-style deathmatch game, but it was third-person perspective. Good times.
