You want to restore the power, so what you did to activate the "arms" was correct. However, you need to do it and then climb back on top of the generator to avoid getting fragged. Once all of the arms are connected, you have to climb your way back down to the tunnel you entered that room from and go back the way you came. There should be an Einstein-looking guy down there looking at some gauges who will tell you the power has been turned back on if you were successful.

Maybe you wouldn't find it so hard if you used a keyboard and mouse. :P

It sure was, thanks to good old FPS know how  I have to say the entire level was a fantastic FPS design, and the reward sure was worth it. Now to "Power Up", as the next level is titled! I got a pretty good fan technique below.
For that difficult fan section -- start it up and RUN back to the ladder, the fan still spins pretty slow enough for you to get in position to have it blow you up to the ceiling. Also, after restoring power (hit BOTH buttons on each side of the generator!!!!), make sure that you take some boxes to make it across the water on the way back!

I actually think difficulty is very fair, at least so far.

Powered up!

Now on the rail. Nice way to start the stage off, I think. Nice to see there are a few more weapons to be had.

Anyone playing the arcade version? They recently installed these in the mall downstairs.

That arcade setup reminds me of the time an arcade I went to was more than likely a test location for the arcade version of Quake by Lazer-Tron. Played just like on the PC. But, I loved the real arcade FPS like War Final Assault (got the in-game T-shirt offer) and The Grid. Spawn was also an arena-style deathmatch game, but it was third-person perspective. Good times.

FPS Beaten 2012: 6
FPS Beaten 2011: 12
FPS Beaten 2010: 13

That's kinda like 30 a year, right?
