I think they are going to make the argument that since you made the mistake(something you have now agreed with them on)that the buyer would of made you pay to ship it back and thus that's why you have to pay shipping to get it back from them. Look at it this way, what if you did ship a game that wouldn't load or work and you wanted it back, you'd probably have to pay to get it back. Why would the buyer have to lose out on more money because you shipped them something that didn't work? You have to look at it from their perspective. In their "judgement" the game was unplayable. I think that's where they were going with the hypothetical, I don't think they have any intentions on making an exception at this point.

That last email did sound like a trap.

If that doesn't work out, tell them "Choose. Either you pay 5$ to ship the item to me, or I'm out of here and you'll lose a lot more by not having me on the site, plus the negative word of mouth"

I have only ever used goozex once and it was because I got 100 points for free and free shipping on any game I buy. The whole system is so slow and badly priced that I never bothered with it after that.

How much credit do they give you for shipping? If they wanted the whole DDR package with the dance mat, it would cost a lot more to ship than a 6 ounce game. If they really wanted the mat included, they should also have bumped up the shipping allowance.

I shipped DDR in box w/mat, it was just over 3lbs - add the weight of a box large enough to hold it and your looking at 4lbs. Minimum $8 depending on zip, prob. closer to $10-11.

Wow, the whole situation is completely crap. I have to give you credit though, most people would of given up on this by now. Much respect to you noiseredux, I hope you end up getting the game back!

If they don't ship your item back call the police.

People keep saying this, but I don't think the police will do anything. Heck, the Atlanta PD wouldn't even take my police report when someone fraudulently charged about $1200 to my credit card back in May or June, and I even knew who did it!

I'll stop there, as I don't really want to turn this into a cop-bashing thread.
