Almost everything uses tons of post nowadays. Most of your TV shows are almost filmed completely on green screens or with partial green screens. It can be cheaper, and can be changed to anything which is why it's a huge fad as opposed to filming on location.

Agreed. I absolutely hate what CGI has done to movies. Case in point: The old Star Wars and the newer Star Wars. Back in the day it was all card board, paper mache, and christmas lights. That's what it took to create the future.

Now they can film the movie and spend months in post production creating a reality, they can control every pixel of the film...and it looks more fake to me than the card board.

Yes, this is the version I grew up on. Guess I was a bit spoiled, but if I'm to be a snob on anything, it may as well be versions of Star Wars.

That's the one I have right now, I believe. I'm too cheap to buy the first three movies on DVD, but I guess it's paid off, then, if I ended up with the best versions. I hate the added scenes.

That movie is amazing, anyone who has seen it can tell you it is a big throwback to old school horror movies, so much so that the end credits feel super eighties, I feel like that is the explanation for this bundle release, If anyone knows differently let me know, but I think it was simply because the movie is just that old school, one of the recent season of Lost to come out had a special edition that also came with a vhs, as some kind of Dharma video
