Nah, it's just that the game only counts shards that you pick up that are lying around towards the total - otherwise, it'd be impossible to get them all due to certain good/evil paths which give you shards as a reward.

Oh right, hadn't thought of that.

I'm still missing one shard on the bad side. I tried using an map online to try and mark off where I"ve been but I've searched the map according the online checklist twice and I couldn't find the last damn shard. I'm going to start a new game and be good and see if I can get all of them in that run. I wish video game characters had pencils to mark off this kind of crap.

I found 3 shards I had missed last night, so I'm down to 2. If I recall, there was one on the busted up bridge before the bridge boss fight that I picked up, but you cannot get back to that section once you pass it. I was wondering if I missed 1 or 2 on the riot bridge near the beginning too. You can start to go back underneath there, but then once you reach the cable you're stuck.

You can only get partway across the broken bridge after the game is beaten so I have no way of knowing if I missed one on the other side. And your first shard is the one that you can't miss during the riot underneath the bridge. It's maddening. I'm going to attempt using a map checklist on my good playthrough.

Right, I meant on the first half of the broken bridge, as opposed to the platform you fight the boss from to the other side you can still reach after. I know I picked up that one on there. I can't remember if I got one on the riot bridge or not though. Oh well. I'll look a little more. I guess you'll be more vigilant on your good trip through and I'll be more vigilant on my evil trip through once we have another go.

Woo, found the last shard. Most of the stragglers were on piers and whatnot on the outskirts of the islands. One more stunt down, but I think I'll be stuck until evil game as there's no way I'm going to have 3 enemies on the same roof with all territories claimed.

I got that trophy when you climb the trash tower. Near the top there is a spot where a bunch of guys swarm out of a big storage container. I killed the two guys with shotguns and hten pushed the rst of them to the far edge to the left of the container where ther eis no railing. IF you use the shield and get close they just run to the nearest cover backwards. Then I just blasted them all off with a shockwave. The hardest stunt was the grenade one. I tried and tried and gave up and then got it by accident later on in the game.
