Dishonored 2's entire launch on PC even through patch 1.3.
Arkane/Bethesda deserve an Asura's Wrath uppercut to the dick.
It's also on sale two weeks after release. Sucks for original buyers who can't play it and weren't able to get a refund like I did.

All you young whippersnappers think you should have things your way. Entitled bunch of brats, all of ya.
Back in my day, we had LJN.
L. J. N.!!!
Their games were terrible and we knew it, but we played them anyway because that's what we had. There were no patches. You whiny babies. We didn't punch anybody in the dick. That's what cowards do. Real men play the game through while grinding their teeth and taking it like it comes and that's how they like it.

Damn kids.

My complaint is games that are either completely non-functional or so buggy that they're effectively unplayable without updates like the entire Xbox One console or - for an extreme case of pure incompetence rather than just rushing production - Arkham Knight's PC launch. While technically not unplayable, the fairly consistent 15 fps frame rate made Homefront: The Revolution only barely playable at launch, and the developers almost immediately broke the damn game entirely by accidentally disabling the map function, making missions literally impossible to accept.

Fun fact: LJN only published. And some of the games were okay! Not many, but some. A Nightmare on Elm Street immediately comes to mind.
Some of the wrestling games were good, too. The common thread there? Rare was involved. Usually helps a bit!

My favorite LJN game (I haven't played Nightmare on Elm Street) was Jaws. I played the shit out of that game growing up. It got repetitive, and the ending was hella anticlimactic, but I still have a lot of fun playing it today.

Yes, I know. But Shenmue with its high exposure and spectacle showcased QTEs like never before, and this limelight directly influenced many developers hence.

Yes, we had LJN games as 80s kids. But us discerning players only touched them after having rented everything else on the shelf first. We hated LJN so much it made us punch ourselves in the dick. That's how my generation discovered masturbation.

What might be uglier than the LJN cartridges are those taller sports games Genesis carts. Man I hated those as a kid.

Oh god, they look horrible. I've only got one - Shaq Fu - but I'm sure I'll get more whenever I get around to expanding my Genesis collection again.

Homefront seems to be patched up just got this recently with season pass, if there are frame dips it's not consistent that I noticed and had a few emergent invasion moments with tons of enemies on screen. Hope they keep up doing this ip there's huge potential there, seems they spent a ton of time building the world and fell flat on programming the A.I otherwise there's a lot to like here imo. One thing I'd like to see going forward are some solid squad tactics/command and brutality real A.I keep everything else intact, I caught a Saboteur/Far Cry/Crisis vibe and loved the way weapon mod loadout works in this game.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Starflight has one of the large carts. And it's a quality game, so if you want to get good Genesis games it'll have to be on your list.
