Uh Oh, someone is getting old. Better enjoy your youth before it pass you by and everything will become more bland.Gamerforlife wrote: It's interesting typing this up, as I have cut back so much on my gaming in the past two to three months. You could say I haven't been addicted to anything in quite some time.

Pokemon was a huge addiction when I was a kid, I played the games to death (Pokemon Red stops counting how many hours you play at 155 hours
) and collected the pokemon cards. When I got Shenmue, I just couldn't stop, I needed to know what might happen next. It never got boring for me becuase there was so much variety in it. On my N64, I got hooked on Goldeneye I played it for about 3 years straight until I got a Dreamcast.

for me right now it's call of duty 4.
as far as addictiveness goes it's hard to say because some games are highly addictive until they are over and others just keep going and going and going and going...
probably the most addictive game i've ever played all around would be jedi knight. the singleplayer hooked me for the 15 or so hours it took and multiplayer hooked me for a couple years.

Based off of your thoughts on Disgaea 2 and Gamerforlife's I might have to check it out to see for myself. I agree with you gamer for life I got pretty sucked into the first Disgaea I can see that happening with the second one as well.I have Disgaea 2. I don't know if it is because I am older or the game is more of the same, but I didn't like it as much as the first one. I think the first one has more charm to it.
I did play FFT til 3 or 4 in the mornings. Damn those special items. Just gotta get them all.
Sega Bass Fishing?!? Are you serious man??? You gotta go fishing in real life man. It is hella fun. Love doing that in the summer.
As for raiden trad, may I recommend getting the Raiden Project collection on PS1 and with the game genie code, play it on TATE mode. My favorite is Raiden 2, love that squiggly purple laser.
As for real fishing, I do that as well just not as much as I'd like too. Actually going with some friends down in Algonac in a couple weeks so that should be a good time. Last time I went didn't catch to many bass but we must have hit a school of perch or something because as soon as we dropped a line in the water the fish would bite. The most fish we ever caught at one time.
As for the Playstation 1 Raiden Project, I'M ON THE HUNT! I can't wait to use the squiggly purple laser for myself! I'm going to start trying to snipe it off of eBay for low price. I seriously can not get enough Raiden already played it this morning for awhile.
