Given who he is, I can't say it's surprising

This really depends on what your definition of "bad graphics" is.
Good graphics doesn't necessarily mean realistic graphics.
In my opinion, both XY and ORAS don't have bad graphics, just stylished graphics.

Metro 2033 had better graphics anyway.
Personal opinion of course, but I felt that the only thing better visually for Metro Last Light was the lighting. Textures etc seemed to be a downgrade when compared to 2033.

Still, I'm buying to support good developers and good games.

Basically Artstyle makes a game more than Graphics. Examples? Wind Waker, Okami, Super Mario Galaxy, etc.

Yeah, sure, but no amount of art direction can solve a terrible draw distance!

Think more like Turok and Turok 2. Now THAT is a terrible draw distance.

I think Gex64 was even worse on the distance. They probably should have installed a fog horn on the character.

I would really love if Sony would make a Dark Cloud HD Collection. Played the first one a ton when I first got my PS2 but never finished it.

The first game would take some... work, to make look decent now, I'd think. I would love to see a Dark Could 2 and Rogue Galaxy release though, I think those both could be touched up to look quite nice!
