Not to go off topic, but the only 2 games that got me buying sony consoles were Final Fantasy and Metal Gear. These days, I can get those on cross platforms so keep on hatin' I say

Loved the GOW and Ratchet & Clank series, been meaning to get the uncharted games. Just gotta find the time to play them, I know you can find them for a good price.

Just because I am not sony's number one fan, dont mean that I skip out on the good exclusive titles. Heck I couldn't call myself a gamer and diss an entire system for nostalgic reasons I just choose to hold out for a while.

I don't like how much Minion kills count towards your totals. So often I think I had a great game and end up 3rd on the leaderboard because whoops, I forgot to step on 20-30 minions with my Titan like a couple of other people did. Throw in my usual complaint about FPS scoring where you get no credit for keeping your deaths down, and it's pretty frustrating when you kill 10 pilots, 3 titans, and die 3 times yet you're below someone that scored 8/3/10 or something like that.

Sometimes it makes me think I should just run around with a silencer and take my chances.

Have you tried Pilot Hunter? Points are scored only on pilot kills, so more than likely, a guy with 16 kills and 14 deaths will not be higher than you on the board

I've played it in Variety and I see the logic in what you're saying just in this game it doesn't quite make it for me. I know what they're going for. Trying to cater to people saying what I said above, but the maps are a little too big for it and there's a little too much else going on for it to be a substitute for a normal TDM by FPS standards. I'm not mad about it I just wish minions counted far less for the personalized stats.

They released a server side update (for pc at least) nerfing how much XP certain things give you, in some casing, like defending a point, it dropped by 66%!

Yep, gone are the days of netting 3k EXP for just sitting on Point A on Domination

I've decided to cancel my CE pre-order, it just doesn't seem worth it for a game I'll never play, though I have no doubt that it will retain its value in the future.
