I'm happy to look into it if you like, just lmk. They are usually $100-150 less than US forums, but you pay about half of that back to ship it of course.
Vegas are tanks, I just really hate art most people put on them. If I was in the market for a supergun that is the only one I would buy.
I briefly thought about selling my cabs and building a fancy supergun and making both passive and actively cooled cases for PCBs (think of them as giant NES carts). But after wasting $100 in plastic on the vac table only to realize that part of the heating element is broken and requires a complete replacement. Well lets just say another project came up.
The only thing I do not like about the PGM is that it has so few shooters.
If I found myself in this situation, I don't think I'd get any big ticket items. It would just be used as an opportunity to get a bunch of cheaper games that could round out my collection in a few areas at once. Mostly, I'd just gorge on some DS, PS1, and PS2 RPGs that I've been meaning to get for a while. =)
Since it is tax return time, I had this same question.
I ended up buying a new gaming laptop and a Nvidia Shield. Too bad I need a desktop GPU to be able to stream PC games to the Shield, but I definitely need the portability of the laptop in this house.
Laptop is the Lenovo Y510p with dual 755m SLI and it is one slick machine. I am still working on getting the roms set up on the Shield, but it is really awesome and plays PSX games without a hitch for the most part. MMMMMMM Handheld Tony Hawk games finally.
oh man, i have a shared google document with a few friends of our lists & prices, 1k would buy pretty much anything non-AES, haha. first things first, i'd prolly grab everdrives for Genesis/Master System/32X, NES, SNES & Turbo, that'd be like almost half of it right there. the other half...wouldn't last long.
