Why should you buy the PS4?

Ubisoft is so damn stupid. They're going to release Watch Dogs 4 days after the PS4 release. Why the hell would you do that?

Out of curiosity I have to ask, what is it about FF7 that you think needs improving? Is it just the graphics, or would you like alterations to the battle system or music or story?

I'm not going to argue it wouldn't be a popular release though.

Personally, I think it would be THE system seller for the PS4. I don't think anything except the graphics need updating, and even then, I'm happy with my original copy. Wouldn't it be the ultimate throwback though? I have no doubts that fans of the original would flock to pick up the game (and system to play it on) simply for nostalgia's sake, let alone the fact that it's a damn good RPG to begin with. It's quite literally the only thing that would tempt me to buy a PS4 at launch at this point.

I won't lie, it would interest me. But I'm not sure Square-Enix would just update the graphics and call it a day. I'd expect voice-overs and additions to the plot to make popular characters like Vincent more important, which would ruin it for me.
Also, I wouldn't expect it to be a PS4 exclusive.

Is there really nothing for the PS4 that interests you? I probably won't get one at launch, but with the indie support and gaikai I know I'll have one this time next year.

I don't plan to get one right away, mostly because I'm not digging the launch lineup. But I'm sure I'll grab one at some point next year. They only really need one game to sell me, I just have to wait and see what that game is.

Contrast the Xbox 1, which has two launch titles I want, but is too expensive at $500. I'll be waiting for a price drop on that one.

I know, but I am a huge fan of Sony consoles/handhelds... so that plan to wait may not last. I am an impulsive buyer on top of that.
