I would suggest a locking display case, then your collection looks great and stays protected

urinate on something very valuable to your mother in front of your entire family. this will solve all of your problems.

Ugh, that's just terrible. I pretty much echo the sentiments in this thread except for the 'steal back' ones as that will just make things worse.

What happened to his father is the missing piece to the puzzle? Maybe he should act like he had Autism so his mom would care. Get a SHRINK for her. Start wearing your mom's clothing and get your brother to do the same, joking. Did she really buy the house or was it some else like the father.

benderx, that was just not called for. I've been holding my tongue on this post because I realize how sensitive a topic it is and didn't know quite what to do but I'll try. I'm slightly autistic (asperger's) so my suggestion is to talk to your brother about it. People with autism have a very logical way of thinking. Ask or explain to him about the logic of what has happened and see if he can help rectify the situation to the better. I think communication is the problem here. Obviously you have the resources to solve the situation in a better way than your mother has done. You have multiple gaming systems, any of which could be used to provide someone in his situation with countless hours of entertainment without resorting to piracy from you. Does your brother need more games? Can you help to provide games he would be absorbed into without the obviously wrong choices being made again and the bad solution your mom has come to to provide to your brother with the games she thinks he needs to the point of forcing the situation to come to this again? I'd be willing to donate some hardware and software to make a tragedy like your Action 52 being basically thrown away like that from happening again. PM for details on a possible old hardware resolution to the whole matter.

Yeah, he's not really into some of the games I have or I don't want him playing them because of what they are (alot of games like Manhunt and GTA).

I think it's great that you and your mother were able to make up, but she needs to pay the full amount of a new Action 52, not half. It's called responsibility. It's important for the parent to be responsible and be a good example for her children. If you fuck up, you apologize and make up for it. If you took $200 from someone, you give them $200 back.
