Cowboy Bebop (PSX) is missing from the list.

:) Thanks. I really need to get back to work on these rail shooting lists now that I have some spare time.

Why is this one here? I played Defender on the PS2. The first level does seem like a long track, but its not a fixed course, you can spin the ship around and go different directions. Later levels are open, fly anywhere.

Chaos Control - CDI, Mac, PC, PS1, and Saturn
There are console versions that got bad reviews. the PC version with mouse control is actually very playable, an animation style rail shooter ride. 8)

Oh man, just discovered this image. I have got to get the PS1 version, note the mouse icon!

This would play beautiful with a Nyco Trackball!

I'm in the process of editing this. Some games that made the list are on there because someone just put up a post. Once I do more research into the games some titles will not make the list.

Updated my previous Reply.

Gamecube P.N.O3 is not a Rail Shooter, you can move freely in various directions.

Maybe also add Space Harrier to the Home Release List?

EDIT
Oop, just realized that Home Release List is for Arcade Light Gun cabinets that got a home release. Maybe include any Rail Shooter Arcade game that got a home release?

If light gun games count, there is also Time Crisis 1-3, Endgame, Ninja Assault, and Vampire Night. All of those except the first Time Crisis are on PS2.

Sierra released a Star Fox clone for XBLA and PC called Aces of the Galaxy.

P.N. 03 added to the list of "games I need to look up".

Space Harrier, naturally, is already on there, bud.

@JT
They'll count provided they move on-rails.

I'll need to check out that Aces game too. Thanks.

Yeah PN 03 isn't a rail shooter at all... just takes like 5 seconds of a YouTube video to figure that out.

You should add Killer7 to the list though.

My mistake on Space Harrier, I thought the second list was all Arcade games that got a home version. Maybe a third list for Arcade Conversions to Home systems?

I know Vampire Night plays just like House of the Dead, pretty sure the other Light Gun games J T submitted are all Rail games too. Damn I really would like to play Vampire Nights with a lightgun, unfortunately not compatible with a HDTV.
