You read a placeholder date set by GS not a literal date set by EA.

Common sense/BS detector is needed is needed to be fully turned on when in a GS store.

I sold my Wii to buy a PS3 last year because 2009 wasn't an amazing year for Wii... 2010 has just not stopped slapping me in the face with that decision

The photo-like quality of the sprites makes me worry what the animation will look like. And the cheerleaders pop out on the screen for no reason.

I remember the article in Nintendo Power saying that bodies of the players, and I'm guessing cheerleaders, are 3d and the heads are 2d images taken from real game footage. Most of the faces are goofy... I personally think the 2d heads add a bit of fun to the look.

I honestly don't like the look, as I'm thinking that the animation could actually get in the way and impair the gameplay. But hopefully the devs take that into account and keep the gameplay as smooth and fast paced as ever.
