Ok, I'm binging on DnB right now. After listening to Noisia again for the first time since "Split The Atom" came out, I decided I would follow up to see where some of my other favorite producers from the mid oughts have turned up. Naturally, Evol Intent was my next logical choice.

Evol Intent has always managed to blur the line between EDM and IDM, while also being the drum n bass equivalent of death metal. Their tunes are huge, dark, menacing, and brutal. Case in point, listen to
Noscope from this EP and feel your chest collapse as it pummels you with relentlessly scrubby basslines while tearing a hole through the space time continuum with drumming skitterbangs that refuse to be neatly classified as techstep, dubstep, twostep, or anystep.
