Potentially, it's where replays can be good - play a game along the "good" path for your "real" playthrough...then subsequent ones are more like alternate timelines where you're just seeing where the other paths would have taken you.

Or, you know, play the evil game for your "real" playthrough and then try out the "goodie froo-froo-butterflies-and-gumdrop-ponies" path.

And then go back in and do another real playthrough in which you crush everything's skull with a hammer, because HELL YES.

I have never understood in games like Fallout 3 and 4 why stealth or otherwise unseen kills get you faction enmity. How do they frikkin know you did any damn thing?
