The Walking Dead tv series

So last week's Game of Thrones had a pretty big shocking event happen to one of its characters, something which also happens in the novels from what I have heard. I just find it interesting that one of the characters in The Walking Dead comics ends up in a very similar predicament and yet we never saw it happen on the show.

I wish the Walking Dead TV show had the balls that Game of Thrones does. GOT isn't pulling any punches

yeah it's too bad hbo can't take over the show. but it is what it is i guess.

Did anyone else find this last season a little disappointing?

It lost a lot of the focus on zombies and survival, which I miss. While the Governor was a crazy SOB, I felt like the story was far too stretched out. And the season finale was a bit anti-climactic compared to past season finales of the show.

I kind of wish the show was on HBO. They just keep shying away from shocking stuff in the comic book, while I seeing similar events being actually shown onscreen over on Game of Thrones on HBO. I think if TWD was on Showtime or HBO, we could pretty much have gotten the exact same story as the comics. What we are getting just doesn't have any teeth and all the things they are doing to dance around those moments in the comic are just making for a weaker story.

Game of Thrones is having the negative effect of making me like The Walking Dead less. It has replaced TWD as my Sunday night show and it is so much better it's ridiculous

yeah but it's pulling massive ratings so i wouldn't expect any changes. only reason i was disappointed in the season was because the fireworks they built up all season kinda fizzled out. i been meaning to start game of thrones, seen just the first episode of the 1st season.
