Closure? Nope
Satisfaction? Nope
Mouth agape? Nope

A disappointing end to what could have been a kick ass season.

Oh, c'mon stickem. TWD has very rarely provided any closure.

That in mind, I'm the horse and this show is the dangling carrot. I keep expecting it to get better, and so far it's been a crap shoot. But I'll continue to watch as it has been hit or miss since day one. And although presented in a different fashion, the comic is the same way.

Im left with two big question.

Yeah, but the comic doesn't play it safe and pull its punches. The show does. It just refuses to ever get as dark as the comic. If it did, it would be the most shocking show on TV, making Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones look like kid stuff

This episode just felt like it was holding back, teasing things it never delivered. I am still a fan, but I've resigned myself to the fact that the show is a watered down, pussified version of the comic. It's like The Walking Dead for kiddies by comparison. Still enjoyable, but in a safe, predictable way. The show has lost its edge

The comic has moments that make you go, "HOLY SHIT!!!!"

The show hasn't done that to me in a while. Watching the governor kill a group of people we don't care about tonight and seeing two useless characters in Milton and Andrea die just leaves me feeling a bit "meh"

This seemed more like a mid season finale.
Andrea being stupid to her very end.
. Im so disappointed in the way tv Andrea was portrayed. Comic book Andrea is such a cool character. At least maybe now will get to see a true version of Tyreese.

This will help with question number 1:
The Governor has lived to see another day, and soon viewers will see a lot more of him, as AMC’s The Walking Dead as promoted actor David Morrissey to a series regular for the upcoming fourth season.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, confirming that Morrissey’s final scene in Sunday’s season finale wasn’t his last. Spoilers: The Governor’s location is currently unknown following a failed assault on the Prison and, well … we won’t spoil it for you here.

Many had expected Morrissey’s character to be killed off in Season 3, but it now appears he’ll have a major presence when the hit drama returns in October, with new showrunner Scott Gimple will be taking the reins from Glen Mazzara.

I'd like to check out the books but don't want to spoil the show for myself...
You shouldn't worry about that. There are enough differences between the two that having read all the books makes it interesting to see how they handle things differently on the show.

I resent this show for being the sole reason there hasn't been a Boondock Saints 3
