I just bought a PS3 to play Dragons Crown so I won't be buying a PS4 anytime soon, if ever. The launch line-up looks incredibly underwhelming anyhow. The same goes for the X1 to be fair. As a big fan of the movies the Mad Max game interest me but for some reason I am doubting it will be any good and certainly not worth the purchase of a console. I'm just not feeling the story driven cinematic experiences.

I think that Mad Max game is going to kick ass for a few reasons: They listened to people when Max didn't have an Aussie accent, now he does. The game is being made by Avalanche Studios who made the very awesome Just Cause games. It's not a movie tie in with the reboot. No one told them to make it, it really sounds like something they wanted to go out and make, which is usually a good thing.

It's not required that you get a new console to play it, either. It's going to be on almost everything.

Thanks for the info. I haven't played Just Cause so I have no idea how it plays. If they put out the Mad Max game for either Wii U or PS3 I'll go ahead and pick it up for sure though. Even if it does end up not being that good for some reason I'm sure I'll still enjoy the hell out of it just 'cause Mad Max. I even enjoy the NES game from time to time.

But, I want the game I've been shown for a year, and the closest target appears to be the PS4 version. Everything they've shown has been PC, but there's no PC talk ... and frankly, I want a disc without importing it. That's just not something Konami would do on PC in North America. So: PS4.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow just released on the PC so you never know.

Anybody thinking about flipping one? It'll probably be sold out for a solid month and there are butt-load of idiots willing to pay mark-up to have it right away. It's an easy $100-$200.

They also said Revengeance would show up on PC too ... and that hasn't happened. If it takes over a year (or three), then who cares? That's like a "Oh I guess I'll buy a steam version too" sort of deal.

I rarely ever pick up systems at launch. The only ones I have are Nintendo systems (GBA, DS, and Wii). And I haven't purchased a Wii U, so that comes before a PS4. There has to be a really compelling reason for me to get a PS4, and I don't see it yet.

Not that I'm ruling it out, it's just too much money for me to justify, not to mention I've got a backlog the size of Texas spanning a couple of the previous generations.

Wanna know a sure-fire way to immediately catapult the PS4 into a HUGE lead in the 8th gen console wars? Make a Final Fantasy VII remake a launch title. Hell, even I would buy one. Why Sony and SquareEnix don't seem to understand this, I will never know.
