And everyone constantly talks about Cybernator, Turrican, Magic Carpet and Commander Keen right?

Enjoy P. Diddy Racing, then:
Oh man, how did you know which character was my favourite!?

Cybernator and Commander Keen I actually hear brought up quite a bit, even today. :P

Also, what is Blood? Not sure I've heard of that.
Its a remake of Myst that uses 3D enviroments rather then pre-rendered enviroments. It also includes an extended ending I hear.

Blood is a DOS FPS from 97 or 98. Made by Monolith Productions.

The 3 unbeaten games from last year I didn't put on my list are good candidates indeed. But because I didn't finish them last year and I have no particular desire to start them this year they will likely go unplayed again.

I'd be interested in playing through one of these. And by one of these I mean the first one.

I've seen people who prefer CD versions for both, people who prefer the PS1 versions for both, and people who prefer the CD version of one along with the Ps1 version of the other. It just makes me want to try out both versions of both games when I can. Right now I only have the CD version of the first one, but assuming I enjoy this I'll be picking up the sequel before long I think.
They both have their pros and cons. I personally prefer the PS1 versions of both games, those fully animated cutscenes, voiced sequences and all the extra goods in the box were about as awesome as it got for me at the time. The hardcover strategy guide for the PS1 version of Eternal Blue was killer too.

Weird, I hear Diddy Kong Racing mentioned way more than either of those.

Whilst I'm thinking of Dsheinems list of games he doesnt regard as classics, I disagree with his opinions on Terranigma and Mischeif Makers too, but I'll let people fight their own battles for those ones XD

Diddy Kong Racing > Mario Kart 64

Yes, I went there.

If you're playing by yourself, definitely. It's got a very awesome and fleshed out single player mode that's sadly still uncommon with kart racers. Closest I can think of is maybe Snowboard Kids 2 having boss battles similar to DKR.

Multiplayer though? Mario Kart 64 for sure.

Guess there's no arguing that.

Still one of the worst "To be continued" cases out there for sure... :(

Whoa, did you seriously just compare a popular African American performer with a monkey who beatboxes?

That's racist.

As for my list, I know most of it wouldn't be considered classic. If I made a list of the classic games to beat in my SNES collection this summer, it would look more like this:

Chrono Trigger
Donkey Kong Country
John Madden Football, '93, '94, '95, '96
Mortal Kombat 2, 3, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
NBA Jam
Populous
Star Fox
Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario-All Stars + Super Mario World
Super Punch-Out
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario World 2

And I don't really feel like playing these at this time. Hell, it will be a long time before I consider approaching Populous ever again.

I might jump in for Eye of the Beholder though if you guys do. I have the SNES port.

And I suppose I have to admit something in the Unpopular Gaming Opinions thread now...
