In no particular order:

1) PC Engine Duo console - My favorite system.
2) Sega CDX w/ 32X - Looks like a Star Trek warship.
3) Pier Solar first print run - Gorgeous packaging, and first homebrew RPG for the system.
4) Dragon Quest plug-n-play sword game - Doesn't work that well (poor AR - doesn't register too well and just kinda frustrating to play), but looks awesome on the shelf.
5) Lucienne's Quest - disc only, but probably the rarest game I own. Only (?) turn-based RPG on the 3DO.

[edit: Runners-up include Dragon Warrior IV CIB, PC-FX console, Twin Famicom, Dragon Warrior slime controller (new), mr repro collection ... etc etc, lol]

4. CDX
5. Shining Force 2 CIB (or SF3)

This was tough. Have several other worthy candidates

Nothing overly unique or amazing, but my top 5 is (albeit in no particular order) probably:

1. Panzer Dragoon Saga
2. Shenmue 1 and 2 (Dreamcast)
3. CIB Mint condition Mega Drive II
4. NiGHTS
5. Phantasy Star IV

Why? I guess I've always been a pretty big Sega fan.

Edit: Have to say my entire Dreamcast collection is probably my most prized collection though. 2 boxed/complete Dreamcasts, 70 odd games, tons of accessories/peripherals. It's definitely my biggest collection.
Own: Sega Mega Drive, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PS Vita, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Xbox 360

This topic has been in the back of my head and I now have my answers. Was hard to narrow things down because my collection is large, but precise, because I don't keep games I have no intention of putting much time into after I've played them. Here's what I came up with. I'm sure, as most of you, this is very subject to change, hard to narrow a game collection to a top 5.

In no particular order:

Hokuto Musou Treasure Box
-One of the funnest PS3 games I've ever played. Love the franchise, the game does it justice and then some, and the collector's set is so much more than your average fare. I've sunk so many hours into this game it's not even funny.

King's Field Dark Side Box
-Another truly glorious collector's box, this is probably my most prized gaming possession to be honest. I love King's Fiend like no other series and this set really hits home for me. Wonderful packaging and extras, and the entire King's Field series in one box. Some thought and care went into this package and it's very much appreciated.

Dragon Force CIB Near Mint Condition (NTSC-U)
-Dragon Force is probably my favorite Saturn RPG (closely followed by the Shining games), and I cherish my pristine copy of the game. When I hear "Sega Saturn", I immediately think Dragon Force. It's the game that made me fall in love with the system, and to this day it's one of my top 3 favorite consoles of all time.

Final Fantasy IV (Super Famicom/NTSC-J, CIB)
-My favorite JRPG of all time, FF IV. I love going through the SFC version a few times a year and trying to read through the dialogue as an aspiring student of the Japanese language and a huge fan of the Final Fantasy franchise. Being that I've played every version of this game, I can say that nothing really compares to the original cart. I'm definitely being picky with that statement, but I'd rather play the original SFC cart over any other release of the game.

God Hand
-It's God Hand. Some of you know I'm obsessed with it. It's just the perfect game for me, I would be okay with God Hand being the only game I ever play for the rest of my life. I own both versions and don't really prefer one over the other, as both are nearly identical. Not a very valuable game or anything, but it's just a personal favorite.

No particular order:
-Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars
-Mega Man Legends (unfortunately lost the manual)
-The World Ends With You - a game I'll never part with, just amazing
-Boxed copy of Zombies Ate My Neighbors - good memories from my childhood with this game, was happy to find a boxed copy.
-SNES model 2

Mine too. When did you get yours? Mine was around 96-97 and came with donkey kong country.

Nice. I got a 3DO specifically to play that and Guardian War exclusively.

And yes, I believe it is the only true traditional JRPG on the system (Guardian War is a strategy RPG and the other RPGs are Western D&D games).

The price has been holding me back, I don't own it yet. I've heard that the (cheaper) Japanese version of Lucienne's Quest has compatibility issues with American systems, unfortunately. I may just track down the Saturn version instead.

Yeah, you can't play the Japanese version on a US console b/c it's missing the kanji set (other games are no problem if they use simple Japanese, but any game with the more complex characters won't run).
