I met my wife at a party that I went to with a friend. At first, I was going to decline the invitation because it was BYOB (Bring your own booze). I mean, man, that's lame, who would have a party and force you to bring your own stuff? But I went anyway and it was awesome because it was 70% women, 30% guys. The guy hosting the party knew a lot of women through his involvement with non-profit organizations. So afterwards, I was like, this guy can throw a BYOB party any time and I'll definitely attend.
