Not soak, but do rinse all fresh fruit and veggies. There are plenty of pesticides on all fresh fruits and veggies, and although they might be small in amount, remember the fact that if it wasn't for sprayed poisons, we wouldn't have fresh produce.
Be especially careful with greens, as lettuces and leeks are full of dirt, sand, and bugs. You can get a salad spinner "real low cheap" almost anywhere, and is a wise investment.
Speaking of fruit, you can toast watermelon seeds just like pumpkin seeds. I guess you can toast anything, but these aren't half bad.
