But, it is deffinetly not my favorite. That goes to Gamecube, which I also think is the most durable. I once spent time with my cousin seeing how durable they were. We hit the Gamecube with a maul, which is like a sledge hammer, except it has a triangulat head, and the Gamecube made a near perfect V, and still turned on...
The n64 is not a bad system at all.

I like my N64. I'm not a fan of collection type platformers, so I'm wary of the Banjo games. But I love many of the other games on the system, even if only about 20 appeal to me. I recently got Harvest Moon 64 with the box, and I was like
because it has only one small place it is damaged.

Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360
WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

Just the thought of you guys hitting perfectly good gaming hardware with a maul makes me cringe. Have you no decency? The Last Horseman wrote:That goes to Gamecube, which I also think is the most durable. I once spent time with my cousin seeing how durable they were. I saw a GC, Ps2, and xbox dropped off the second story in a building on some TV show. Only the GC still "worked" as I recall. The Last Horseman wrote:That goes to Gamecube, which I also think is the most durable. I once spent time with my cousin seeing how durable they were. Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Supreez, for the record, none of them read memory cards, and we wanted to know durablility. I did not have a console at the time, so it seemed okay. Now I understand the horror.
Oh, I like N64 boxes for some reason. I think they're cool.

X-Play! It was one of their better skits. I think it deserves another viewing:DinnerX wrote:I saw a GC, Ps2, and xbox dropped off the second story in a building on some TV show. If I recall that whole episode correctly (it's not in this clip) I believe the hosts said after the skit that they preformed these tests twice and the Gamecube won both times. They said it was very therapeutic

Nintendo's systems have always been ridiculously durable.
Anybody got that picture of the gameboy that still worked even after being burned to a crisp in a fire? Good stuff.
Of course, having said all of that, I'm still pretty delicate with the Wii. Maybe I'm paranoid, but that one always feels like its moments away from falling apart.

Yes, that's the one!DinnerX wrote:This?CFFJR wrote: Anybody got that picture of the gameboy that still worked even after being burned to a crisp in a fire? Good stuff.
I forgot they had it in New York. I also forgot it went through a bombing, not a fire.
Still, I love that.

Yeah. The Wii does seem a little less sturdy than it's predecessors. I feel fairly confident that if I accidentally dropped one of the earlier consoles than it would be fine, but the Wii just doesn't give me that same vibe. Maybe it's because mines white though. White does have a tendency to give off a delicate vibe when it comes to electronics.CFFJR wrote:Nintendo's systems have always been ridiculously durable.![]()
