Exactly what I was thinking. I'd rather get this over with than let it linger. I'd always intended on getting this other side of the genre listed.

rail shooters? it´s too vague, is that like any non-free non-360 degrees roaming environment based games?
There are light gun games.
Then there are arcade style flight sim styled games with a cursor like after burner and panzer dragoon. what do you call these then?
