What video card does your laptop have? I first played Portal on a 2007 Macbook in bootcamp, and while there was a definite improvement going to my PC and such, it was still playable on the paltry Intel graphics that has.Luke wrote: I'd rather not buy the Orange Box as I already own the other two games. Waiting on a sale for the Steam versions would likely net you the best deal. There's a bundle there with both games that has a full price of $25, but can probably be snagged for under $10 if you watch and wait.
The "freebie" that Portal 2 can have is with the PS3 version, which will net you the Steam version as well if you link your PSN and Steam accounts.
