Carl is one of the very few people on the show who reacts like an actual human being. His judgement so far has been spot on.

I'm not entirely sure Luke is being serious. Carl is a tough kid, but it's NEVER smart to go off on your own in the zombie apocalypse. Dale died because he stupidly decided to go take a walk by himself in the middle of the night.

I like Carl, he is becoming quite the little badass, but he'd have been dead if Michonne wasn't there.

To be fair, we've seen Rick stupidly go off on his own too. He recklessly went into a zombie infested part of the prison by himself once. Reckless stupidity runs in the family

Remember when the season started, and the group was back to back, covering all sides and killing every zombie they saw. THAT is what smart people do. The zombie apocalypse is like living in the wild, you need to travel in packs, like wolves.

I've grown much more fond of Carl as the season's progressed. He's turned into quite the little gun-toter.

But, lets face it. If Michonne had listened to him and let him go off on his own then, best case scenario, he would have gotten his ankle gnawed off by that zombie behind the bar. Michonne, on the other hand, was in and out of that place without the zombies knowing, photo and ugly cat in hand, in less than 30 seconds.

Carl's good, but he's got a long way to go.

100% serious.

Never said Carl was the sharpest crayon in the box, I said he acts like an actual person. And I can totally see how he wanted one, just one photo of his Mother no matter what the cost.

It's not that I want Carl to lead his own team of rugrats, it's that he is the most believable character in the series right now.

A mention that they had traveled for many hours would have made this story make more sense. In the first episode of this season they mentioned that they had been travelling in circles for almost a year, suggesting they didn't know where they were. But now they return to Rick's home town for a run like it's the local 7-11. And like has been said, it's unlikely that Rick would be unaware of an in-use prison anywhere in his state, especially one within an hour or two.

Next week's Talking Dead will have Lauren Cohen and Eliza Dushku. If I was Chris Hardwick I don't know how I could handle that much hotness in one room

I could marry either one of those girls without a second thought. I know I'll be tuning in.

Anyone else see the video of the intro if the show was made in the 90's? (no spoilers)

Two of my favorite names to say are "Eliza Dushku" and "Leighton Meester". Funny sounding.
