Video Game "Look what I found"
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Dave, let me know what you think of Prototype. I had a lot of fun with it, reminded me of an old school beat 'em up in third person, but in third person and with a really bad story.

I would be surprised if it is as good as Infamous, which came out around the same time. I remember them being compared frequently and people preferring Infamous.jfe2 wrote:Dave, let me know what you think of Prototype. Since I started that other thread and got some recommendations I actually have picked up a fair number of sticks. The Super Advantage is much better than the NES Advantage IMO. Haven't had a chance to try out the NES Quickshot yet.noiseredux wrote:haha, the hat rules! I'm glad you found a couple of arcade sticks to get yr collection going.
I am already on the TI99 cart hunt. Everything inside that box is so pristineHobie-wan wrote:Very cool. Great find on the TI. Definitely need Parsec and Hunt the Wumpus. Also nice find on the gray Wico stick. The other stuff is cool too, just those 2 stand out to me.

you might be the first person to string those particular words together in that order.dsheinem wrote:The Super Advantage is much better than the NES Advantage IMO. Haven't had a chance to try out the NES Quickshot yet.

Really? It feels heavier, more responsive, it's bigger, etc. The button layout is a bit odd maybe, but I haven't tried it for a fighter which is where that matters most...noiseredux wrote:you might be the first person to string those particular words together in that order.dsheinem wrote:The Super Advantage is much better than the NES Advantage IMO. Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
a lot of people seem to hate the button layout. I guess it would bug me that it's not a standard 3x3 layout. But really my problem was that the buttons would sometime seem to get stuck down because they'd get caught on the casing itself. Very odd. Maybe that was just a certain batch of them though. I have no idea. Haven't touched one in many years.dsheinem wrote: Really? You've clearly never played Magic City Man which is superior in every way to both:dsheinem wrote:I would be surprised if it is as good as Infamous, which came out around the same time. $4.98 at Target today! I also saw Madden 2010 (PS2) for the same price but passed on it.
