Dave, let me know what you think of Prototype. I had a lot of fun with it, reminded me of an old school beat 'em up in third person, but in third person and with a really bad story. :)

I would be surprised if it is as good as Infamous, which came out around the same time. I remember them being compared frequently and people preferring Infamous.

Since I started that other thread and got some recommendations I actually have picked up a fair number of sticks. The Super Advantage is much better than the NES Advantage IMO. Haven't had a chance to try out the NES Quickshot yet.
Hobie-wan wrote:Very cool. Great find on the TI. Definitely need Parsec and Hunt the Wumpus. Also nice find on the gray Wico stick. The other stuff is cool too, just those 2 stand out to me.
I am already on the TI99 cart hunt. Everything inside that box is so pristine :D . The Wico stick was a nice bonus - looks like it fetches $15-$20 or more itself, so the whole bundle for $25 was quite the bargain!

Really? It feels heavier, more responsive, it's bigger, etc. The button layout is a bit odd maybe, but I haven't tried it for a fighter which is where that matters most...

a lot of people seem to hate the button layout. I guess it would bug me that it's not a standard 3x3 layout. But really my problem was that the buttons would sometime seem to get stuck down because they'd get caught on the casing itself. Very odd. Maybe that was just a certain batch of them though. I have no idea. Haven't touched one in many years.

You've clearly never played Magic City Man which is superior in every way to both:
